Pasta Pesto : it’s all about basil

A few weeks ago we brought – from the Atlantic coast – a beautiful fresh basil plant to the ‘Spanish Midlands’, i.e., dry and very warm weather even in September (it’s been crazy…).

You guessed it, our dear basil is feeling ‘down’ and that’s why we decided to give an honorable ending to its existence.

So, what would be the best recipe to fulfill that objective? Pesto sauce. Why? Because basil is its quintessential protagonist!
